Private Client

We combine an understanding of visual surrounds and expertise in the visual arts with an extensive network of arts professionals who include specialist dealers, valuators, historians, framers, restorers and more.
The first step in working with a client is to assess pieces that already form an existing collection to determine what is needed to maintain and build the collection going forward. Common initial requirements include valuations, reframing, restorations and curating or placement of art pieces in a setting. Once the state of an existing collection is determined, it is possible to consider new acquisitions. We see through acquisitions from start to finish, and oversees installation of works.
Susan and her associates will do as little or much work as specified by a client, according to budget and timescale. Purposes to art consultancy vary from client to client, ranging from decorating a home to acquiring art for investment. Projects might take place within a set time frame or may last for a number of years, depending on the client’s requirements.

Cost
There is no upfront cost to Art Consultancy; we offer an initial complimentary consultation to assess requirements and to discuss how we might help. For art acquisitions we take our fee from the supplier to enable the client to enable the client to purchase original art at market value with no added fees. And for consulting services such as art installations and curating, we charge an hourly, half day and daily rate.
