Michael Cardinali (b. 1979)

Michael combines photographic eras by shooting with traditional analog cameras and editing/printing with digital technology. Following a decade in New York, the photographer now resides in Boston, Massachusetts, after having attained an MA at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Currently he is concentrating on capturing local landscapes-specifically, of greenery that exists within city limits. Cardinali’s ouevre includes landscapes and cityscapes of New York, countryside depictions of new jersey, 24 x 20 inch Polaroid portraits and recent Boston projects.

The artist presently holds two positions as Lecturer in Photography at The University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH and at Anna Maria College, Paxton, MA.
