The Be Smart About Art Academy specialises in working with artists and art dealers / gallerists to provide best practices and essential tools to facilitate career success and enjoyment. The Academy is based in London, and offers a programme of workshops (evening, daytime and weekend), longer courses (weekdays and weekends), one to one advisory, a member network and an alumni programme.
Started in 2012, the Academy follows vast funding cuts for an industry known to be shrouded in mystery and exclusivity. This is in addition to a void in programmes that provide practical art world and business training.
